Jharkhand BEd Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

The combined entrance examination is an offline OMR-based MCQ test. The paper carries 100 marks, and each correct answer carries 1 mark. For each wrong answer, 0.25 mark is deducted.

Language Proficiency includes Hindi and English components. Teaching Aptitude covers topics related to education, teaching profession, leadership, classroom and group management, interpersonal skills and awareness related to school education.

Eligibility Snapshot for BEd Admission

For B.Ed admission through this entrance process, the official notice states that candidates should meet the required marks in the qualifying degree.

• At least 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities or Commerce.
• For SC, ST, OBC, PwD and other reserved categories, the marks requirement is 45% as per the notice.
• Candidates with Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics need 55% marks, or 50% for reserved categories mentioned in the notice.
• Final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s students may apply, but admission depends on producing the final result and meeting the required marks criteria.
• The notice does not place a restriction on the passing year for applying to B.Ed./M.Ed./B.P.Ed. courses.
