BBMB ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Overview

BBMB is conducting this apprenticeship engagement for the 2026-27 training year under Dehar Power House Circle, Slapper. The notification is meant for ITI-qualified candidates who want one year of apprenticeship training in notified technical trades.

Trade-wise Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed 10th class examination from a recognised board.
• Candidate must have secured at least 40% marks in 10th class.

• Aadhaar card is required for online registration on the apprenticeship portal.

Candidates whose qualifying result is awaited as on the last date should not treat themselves as eligible unless the official notification specifically allows it.

Age Limit and Reservation

The age limit and reservation will be governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and applicable amendments. Candidates should check the official notification and the apprenticeship portal while applying, especially if they are claiming reserved category benefits.

For local preference, 25% of the available seats in each trade are to be considered for candidates having a residency certificate from the project area districts where the project, power station or unit is located. For this notification, the project area is linked with Dehar Power House BBMB Slapper and the districts mentioned are Mandi and Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh.

If such seats remain vacant, they may be offered first to eligible candidates from the state where the project or power station is located and then through open merit, as per the notified preference conditions.

Selection Process

The BBMB ITI Apprentice selection is merit-based. The notification does not mention a written test or interview for this engagement.

If two candidates secure equal merit, the older candidate will get preference. If the date of birth is also the same, preference will be given to the candidate who passed matriculation earlier.

• Apply if your 10th and ITI marks are available before the closing date.
